PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB
The Information Security Analyst is responsible for the ongoing monitoring of information and cyber security procedures and protocols for the protection of the organizations’ computer networks and information. Performs a variety of tasks.

- Ensures the confidentiality of customer non-public personal information and secures information systems to comply with bank regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND PERFORMANCE AREAS

- Assists in monitoring information security directives as mandated by GLBA, SOX, and FFIEC guidelines;
- Monitors and reviews user activity for information security processes;
- Performs vulnerability scanning and reporting;
- Recommend security enhancements to management;
- Assists the ISO in performing information security, cybersecurity, and IT asset risk assessments to ensure that information systems are adequately protected and meet guidelines;
- Investigates and reports all information security violations and breaches;
- Maintains a current understanding of the IT threat landscape for the industry;
- Review and responds to tickets in the security board;
- Monitors the SIEM;
- Performs reporting to Manager as required; and,
- All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to work independently and effectively;
- Knowledge of financial services regulations and guidance, such as GLBA, SOX, FFIEC;
- Ability to implement security controls; and,
- Broad understanding of security frameworks and concepts.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent related experience required; and,
- At least 3-5 years of experience in computer systems.
