What are the responsibilities and job description for the Music Minister Job at Southern Baptists of Texas Convention in Huntsville position at Southern Baptists of Texas Convention?
The Minister of Music will be responsible to the Church, under the supervision of the Senior Pastor, to lead music that honors and glorifies God by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ through music and worship. This position will direct the planning, organizing, and conducting of a comprehensive music program. The Minister will supervise the work of all music workers and coordinate special music in consultation with the Senior Pastor.
This position is anticipated to entail 10-15 hours per week.
Minimum Requirements :
- Experience in organizing a blended style of worship.
- Must agree with SBC Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
- Must become an active member of Westway Baptist Church upon acceptance of the position.
