Position : Audio Visual Associate (Part time, Salaried, 25 hours / week) Non-exempt
Supervisor : Media Director
Function : The Audio Visual Associate supports the Associate Pastor of Worship and the Media Director in meeting the ministry needs of the Worship Ministry, Media Ministry, ministries church-wide, and community groups that need ministry support while on campus.
General Requirements :
The Audio Visual Associate should have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, as evidenced by a daily walk with the Lord, and a heart for the advancement of the ministries of the church.
The Audio Visual Associate should have the skills, abilities and experience to provide support services to the staff and act as a resource for the membership of the church.
Specific Responsibilities :
Support the Media Director :
Sunday morning for corporate worship and completing A / V requests for Sunday School
Prep for Wednesday evening ministries and rehearsals
Special event setups including funerals, church member and outside group events
ProPresenter slide development for worship services, proof reading, Bible Study A / V setups during the week
Mixing live sound with vocalists, guitars, drums and orchestral instruments
Audio setup and teardown
Work with other pastors and ministry leaders as part of a team to ensure ministry A / V needs are being met
Various other administrative jobs, as needed
Other Responsibilities :
Know and maintain all policies and procedures of the church.
Be a contributing member of the staff by fostering cooperation, teamwork, respect, trust, and dependability within the church staff.
Be a contributing member of the staff by faithfully radiating energy, friendliness, righteousness, fellowship and stewardship in promoting the Lord’s work at First Baptist Church of Keller.
Endorse and support the Mission / Purpose Statement, the Constitution and Bylaws, and the Statement of Faith as it appears in the constitution of First Baptist Church of Keller.
Other duties as assigned by the Associate Pastor of Worship or Media Director.
As ministry changes, job descriptions may change to meet the needs of the church.
Qualifications
Evangelical Christian actively involved in a local church ministry
High school diploma required; Associate’s degree or higher preferred
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and working in a Mac environment
Must be proficient in PowerPoint and Keynote
Must be proficient in ProPresenter
Must have working knowledge of portable sound systems, including set up / tear down
Must have prior experience operating a digital sound board for live audio and video
Proficient in operating PTZ cameras, camera controller, and camera switcher
Must have working knowledge of Grand MA lighting board
Audio and Video Recording and editing skills a plus
Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro
High attention to detail
Ability to ensure security of confidential data
Excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable working with all types of people and age groups
Enjoys learning new things and helping others
Ability to work with a team
Ability to multi-task
Schedule
Sunday : 6 : 30 am - 12 : 30 pm
Wednesday : 1 pm - 9 pm
Remaining 12 hours : Monday-Thursday, flexible based on church needs or events
