Regional Manager

Job Summary: Southern Belle Refrigerated is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee operations at our cold storage facilities in Tupelo, Mississippi, and Martin, Tennessee. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, resources, and maintenance programs, ensuring safety and compliance, and driving customer relationships and business growth.

Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management:

Oversee and direct location operations managers at both facilities.

Manage staff requirements and resource needs.

Conduct performance reviews and maintain competitive compensation levels for hourly and salaried team members.

Maintenance & Safety:

Manage Southern Belle Refrigerated refrigeration maintenance resources as needed.

Establish well-defined maintenance programs for building and equipment.

Strengthen and maintain safety programs.

Ensure all audit requirements and training needs are current and up to date.

Financial & Strategic Planning:

Direct the budget and planning for yearly performance.

Oversee the transition to a new inventory and tracking management system.

Customer Relations & Business Development:

Build and maintain overall customer relationships and contracts for Southern Belle Refrigerated facilities.

Develop new customers for available dry storage capacity.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in managing cold storage facilities or similar operations.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent organizational and planning abilities.

Knowledge of refrigeration maintenance and safety protocols.

Ability to manage budgets and financial planning.

Strong customer relationship management skills.

Experience with inventory and tracking systems is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
