About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated OR Circulating RN-SURG PRN to join our team. As an OR Circulating RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. You will work closely with the surgical team to ensure that all patients receive the highest quality care possible. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all patients are comfortable, safe, and well-informed throughout their surgical experience. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of skill, dedication, and attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of Mississippi
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical setting
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with orthopaedic surgery
- Experience with robotic surgical systems
Responsibilities:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the surgical environment
- Collaborating with the surgical team to ensure that all patients receive the highest quality care possible
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Assisting with surgical procedures as needed
- Providing education and support to patients and their families throughout the surgical experience
Skills:
As an RN-SURG PRN, you will utilize your exceptional clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and attention to detail to provide exceptional patient care. You will also use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with the surgical team and provide education and support to patients and their families. Your ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing situations will be essential in this fast-paced surgical environment. Additionally, your knowledge of surgical procedures and equipment, as well as your experience with electronic medical records and robotic surgical systems, will be highly beneficial in this role.
