UNPAID YOUTH FOOTBALL COACH
Job Summary
The Assistant Coach plays a vital role in supporting the head coach in the development and execution of training programs for athletes. This position involves working closely with participants to enhance their skills in football. The Assistant Coach will also be responsible for promoting a positive and inclusive environment that encourages teamwork, discipline, and personal growth among athletes.
Duties
- Assist the head coach in planning and implementing training sessions and practice schedules.
- Provide instruction and guidance to athletes on techniques, strategies, and rules of the sport.
- Monitor athlete performance and provide constructive feedback to help improve skills.
- Foster a safe and supportive environment by implementing behavior management strategies.
- Educate athletes on the importance of physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Organize team events, practices, and competitions while ensuring all logistics are managed effectively.
- Maintain communication with parents or guardians regarding athlete progress and any concerns.
- Collaborate with other coaching staff to ensure a cohesive approach to athlete development.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of sports such as basketball, cheerleading, karate, swimming, or martial arts.
- Experience in behavior management techniques to effectively guide young athletes.
- Ability to educate participants on physical education principles and promote healthy lifestyles.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with athletes, parents, and coaching staff.
- Strong leadership qualities to inspire and motivate athletes towards achieving their goals.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per hour
