Southern California Edison is a leader in the clean energy revolution, and we're seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Risk Management Specialist to join our team.
We're looking for an individual who can help us build a better tomorrow by joining our Cyber Threat Hunt and Intelligence team as a Senior Cybersecurity Operations Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for executing and assisting in the development and enhancement of various intelligence functions. You will consistently research emerging threats, analyze technical intelligence reports, and monitor intelligence sharing platforms.
As a member of our team, you will assess this data against the SCE environment and integrate the intelligence across the various Cyber and Cross-OU teams via various written and verbal delivery methods based on PIRs. You will also leverage, integrate, and fine-tune various intelligence toolsets, including TIP and tools for dark web research.
The ideal candidate will have experience with data analysis and threat intelligence platforms, as well as programming languages and malware analysis. Responsibilities:
- Perform security risk, vulnerability assessments, and business impact analysis for medium complexity information systems.
- Carry out project reporting for assigned projects, monitoring project status, timeline and budgets.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of current and future security domains including those which may introduce new service areas.
- Adopt and follow security controls, processes, and procedures to manage risk across all information system environments (infrastructure, network, and applications).
