Become a Principal Manager, Employee Communications at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you’ll support the company's vision and corporate goals by developing and implementing an integrated employee communications strategy. You will lead a team to create and deliver effective communications that inform, educate and engage over 13,000 employees across various channels. Your responsibilities include establishing consistency in the company narrative through creative storytelling, implementing a comprehensive employee communications plan, measuring content impact using data analytics, and overseeing content quality, budgets, and project plans. Additionally, you will serve as PIO during Incident Management Team activations and be on call after hours.

Responsibilities
- Shapes and oversees strategic corporate communication plans, including developing plans in line with other business initiatives, communicating plans internally, and securing leadership approvals.
- Engages with leadership and external stakeholders, making pivotal decisions that shape the company's public image and brand identity.
- Oversees the implementation of a robust measurement program, including various internal and external channels in support of business priorities.
- Executes communication campaigns in support of the business and the company’s brand and reputation.
- Oversees the section budget, administering and implementing the approved budget, authorizing purchases and justifying variances.
- Leads the development of policies to enhance the efficiency of the communications department and to further develop the building and maintaining of a positive corporate brand.
- Oversees the development of relationships with corporate and industry media organizations, communities, trade associations and other affiliated non-industry organizations in order to position SCE positively.
- A material job duty of all positions within the company is supporting the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
