Responsibilities
- Analyzes user feedback and Interfaces with key stakeholders to apply technical proficiency through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Collaborates with the business to translate needs into analytics and reporting requirements
- Documents, implements and supports solutions such as data models, cubes and reports to support data analysis
- Delivers high quality code, leads validations for testing and all activities related to implementation
- Performs code reviews, unit tests and tracks the status of assigned projects to ensure timely completion and maintains communication with project manager and project team regarding progress of work
- Coaches and educates end users on best practices, standards for querying, and proper use of reports and cubes
- Identifies opportunities for improving software development methods and procedures
- Researches database issues, standards and products and develops technical documentation and handbooks for application design and code specifications
- Collaborates closely with production support teams, platform teams and business partners to handle technical aspects of the application, including implementation, change management, maintenance, platform upgrades, and changes to requirements from both upstream and downstream interfacing applications
- Analyzes present-state to develop alternative future-state approaches, and facilitates implementation
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
- Five or more years of experience in applications development utilizing SDLC and/or DevOps practices.
- Five years of programming and software development experience in one or more of the listed languages/Tools: Microsoft Access, SAS, Power Bi, C , Visual Basic, C Sharp, or other Object-oriented computing languages.
- Three years of automation experience using the follwoing tools: UiPath, Power Automate, and/or Automation Anywhere.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
- Experience in system and process implementations.
- Experience developing and delivering technical presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Understands the software development life-cycle, including but not limited to practical work experience in developing and translating logical and physical system diagrams, development of business and system requirements, and performing user-acceptance testing.
- Proficiency in systems design, such as Visio or other types of systems diagram tools.
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
