SCSI Area Manager Job description
The Area Manager is described as the individual who is charge of accounts that are assigned to them and in daily contact with the Director of Operations, Account Supervisors, Cleaning Techs and the Facilities/Building Manager. This person is responsible for being the primary, single point of contact for those specified accounts and all shifts.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicates daily with Director of Operations, to ensure client expectations are being met as well as obtain any special instructions such as meetings or special events. Communicate with the customer contact as needed.
- Works to resolve client complaints and assists with follows up to make sure the situation is corrected in a prompt and timely manner.
- Performs daily inspections on staff members and assists and train team members as needed to ensure scope of work is completed daily.
- Assists with hiring, training and onboarding, as well as assimilation to the team.
- Works with Area Supervisor to ensure preventative maintenance is performed and equipment is in good working order and safe to use.
- Assists with communicating to employees and enforces company rules of conduct and ensure a positive workplace environment.
- Order Supplies, if and when needed. Also, may need to deliver supplies to different locations, as needed.
- Report any disciplinary issues to Director of Operations and works together to resolve matters.
- Plans out a schedule and staffing accordingly.
- Must available to come in during any emergency basis, or in any instance a tech is unavailable, to cover a shift.
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment and how to operate them correctly, is helpful, or the ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to train and develop others to perform cleaning tasks in various areas and locations.
- This is a full-time, salaried position. Hours may vary depending on accounts assigned to you, and you will need to be available nights and weekends if accounts are in need of your assistance, during those hours.
- Be willing to on occasion, to assist other account managers and/or the operations team, on new job rollouts, or special events or projects.
- Travel may be required to your assigned accounts, within Florida, Georgia territory.
- Walkthrough and meetings for new accounts
- Work hand in hand with our Sales Team, on ongoing or start-up Accounts
Requirements:
- Must be able to pass fingerprinting background checks, and random drug screening.
- 1 yr. in a supervisory or lead role in a commercial cleaning, distribution, warehouse, city and county buildings, or other direct service industry (hotels, restaurants, retail)
- Stand and walk and/or clean for multiple hours per day, with no health issues or restrictions, to limit your ability.
- Lift up to 50 lbs. on an occasional basis
- Flexibility to adjust plans when needed based on account demands
- Computer literate, especially with Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must have own, reliable transportation
- Bilingual Helpful
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $650 and Up per week (Negotiable, Depends on experience and ability)
