Overview
Southern Colorado Community Action Agency, Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Program Director. This is a full-time position responsible for designing, implementing, and coordinating an outdoor adventure and leadership after-school program for middle and high school age youth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement after-school programs with an emphasis on social emotional learning and service learning.
- Recruit participants using various approaches.
- Establish and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
- Report regularly to the youth services team regarding program progress and goals.
- Consult with the youth services team on administrative duties and programmatic changes.
Requirements:
- Experience working with middle school and/or high school age youth in various environments.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overnights.
- CPR/First Aid certification required.
