We are a privately owned company that was formed with a mission to provide a high level of care for the elderly, disabled and post-operative patients. We are licensed and service 23 counties in Georgia and provide one-on-one care which allows us to gain a better understanding of each client's needs.
The Scheduling Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring high-quality care for our clients by managing caregiver schedules with accuracy and efficiency. This person is the main point of contact for coordinating shifts, addressing scheduling conflicts, and making sure every client receives timely and consistent care. Preferred qualities include familiarity with home care regulations and caregiver scheduling platforms (e.g., AxisCare) and strong attention to details with a proactive approach. The position allows for remote work; however, the candidate must be available to meet in person twice weekly - typically on Monday and Thursday mornings. Must also be dependable and flexible with a team-oriented attitude.
Skills and qualifications required:
- Reliability, confidentiality and time management is a must.
- Communicate effectively with the elderly and family members.
- Flexible and willing to adapt to ever changing situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, maintain, and adjust daily, weekly, and monthly caregiver schedules.
- Match clients with caregivers based on availability, skills, and compatibility.
- Respond promptly to caregiver call-outs or client schedule changes.
- Maintain accurate records of schedules, shifts, and communications.
- Collaborate closely with caregivers, clients, and office staff to ensure clear and proactive communication.
- Ensure compliance with agency policies, state regulations, and client care plans.
- Provide excellent customer service with a compassionate and solutions-focused mindset.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle last-minute changes calmly.
Pay-rate:
- Starting pay is $15/hourly; paid weekly
