What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Worker position at Southern Components, Inc?
Primary Job Duties:
- Work with lumber truss components to build trusses
- Report to work on-time so that truss completion is not delayed
- Use both hand tools and mill equipment
- Understand weekly and monthly production goals and strive to meet them
- Comply with all safety regulations and company policies
- Work in an outdoor, open air mill environment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have the ability to report to work on time
- Must possess the skills to work with hand tools and large mill equipment
- Must have a good team and work ethic
- Must have basic math skills
As a condition of employment, all employees MUST pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
