Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center has an opening for a Night Shift Licensed Practical Nurse to float from ER to Med Surg. The Float Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct and indirect patient care in the emergency department and medical-surgical department under the supervision of a registered nurse. Provides care that reflects initiative, flexibility, and responsibility indicative of professional expectations. Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system. Communicates with medical providers about changes in patient's status, symptoms, and results of diagnostic studies. Is able to respond quickly, and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. The role provides services that meet the patient's psychosocial and physical care requirements in accordance with Southern Coos Health District standards of care. The LPN provides care, as defined in the Oregon State Board of Nursing scope of practice.

Shift : Nights, 3 x 12 for 36 hours
This is a Full-Time onsite position that is eligible for benefits.
