SCHHC has an opening for a Full-Time Housekeeper. As a Hospital Housekeeper, you have a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, and healthcare staff. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will contribute to the well-being and comfort of patients. This position requires a strong work ethic, the ability to follow strict hygiene and safety protocols, and a dedication to upholding high standards of cleanliness. To attain a sanitary environment the Housekeeper will use cleaning devices such as light mops, wringers, dusters, household-type vacuum cleaners, and other necessary tools, chemicals, and supplies.
Skills, Knowledge, & Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior experience in a healthcare or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle emergency cleaning situations as they arise.
- Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a drive to provide exceptional service.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Shift: Tuesday - Saturday 11 am to 7:30 PM
This is a Full-Time onsite position that is eligible for benefits. * SCHHC pays the full employee-only amount for Health, Dental, Vision, and Basic Life & AD&D insurance. *
Employment with Southern Coos Hospital is contingent upon an acceptable pre-employment drug screening and background check.
