Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center has an opening for an onsite, dedicated, and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our Retail Pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists with dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing exceptional customer service, all while adhering to the standards set by the Oregon Board of Pharmacy.
Skills, Knowledge, & Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Pharmacy Technician license from the Oregon State Board of Pharmacy required.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required.
- 340B Program experience preferred.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a drive to provide exceptional service.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication, and computer proficiency, specifically in Microsoft Office and online software, EPIC experience is a plus.
This is a Full-Time onsite position that is eligible for benefits. * SCHHC pays the full employee-only amount for Health, Dental, Vision, and Basic Life & AD&D insurance. *
