Accounts Receivable Specialist
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated performer to join our Accounts Receivable team as a Account Receivable Specialist, with an extensive knowledge of claims reimbursement and collection efforts for Managed care and Commercial insurance plans. We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team located in Fort Worth, Texas.
Maintain Rights of Residents as set forth by the Texas Department of Health Laws and Regulations.
Essential Functions
Billing and follow up of Insurance claims for skilled nursing facilities.
Other duties as assigned, with or without reasonable accommodation, to assist in maintaining quality standards and maintaining the facility as a viable and successful entity.
Qualifications
Previous medical billing experience required
Medical billing in a skilled nursing environment preferred
Experience using Point Click Care software preferred
Previous experience working in or with a nursing home preferred
Competencies
Ability to comprehend industry and regulatory knowledge
Ability to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile residents within the facility
Ability to function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies
Excellent communication, time management, and collaboration skills
Ability to demonstrate patience, tact, courtesy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
Ability to remain calm under stress
Ability to move throughout the workday
