Job Title: Spare Sales Representative (On-Premise)
Reports To: District Sales Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt
Classification: Full Time
Job Summary: The Spare Sales Representative is an entry-level sales position that serves as a back-up to Sales Representatives providing support to accounts during vacancies and absences and held accountable for customer satisfaction.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for strengthening retailer relations.
- Maintaining account rapport, case sales replenishment and growth, quality assurance of products, and follow-up communication.
- Responsible for effective planning and execution of sales promotions.
- Accountable for customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for compliance with the company's Product Freshness Rotation Policy
- Responsible for partnering and communication with dedicated Service Representatives to ensure excellent customer service.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and maintaining quality standards of products by the rotation.
- Ability to solve practical problems.
- Ability to work in a friendly manner as part of a team and to develop effectively working relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure.
- Ability to be punctual in meeting route scheduling and attention to detail
- Intermediate computer skills, particularly in Word and Excel
- Possesses a valid driver's license in the state of residence while maintaining a good driving record.
Education/Experience:
- Experience in beverage distribution or related sales preferred.
- High school diploma or GED.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Administrative and sitting 40%
- Walking, standing, bending, lifting, and twisting 60%
