Our Dental Practice is looking for a Pediatric or General Dentist to join our team!
CDC Dental provides dentistry services to patients in Cartersville, Acworth, and Rome. We place an emphasis on preventative and restorative care. The practice approaches each treatment with care, using the latest technology and gentlest techniques. The office is fully chartless and digital office that puts patients and staff as priority.

As a Pediatric or General Dentist, you will provide general dentistry services, including the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, gums and related oral structures in children ages 2 though 18.

We are looking for a Dentist to diagnose, treat and advise our patients on various dental issues. Youll need to have experience treating a range of teeth and gum problems, from simple cases like removing plaque, fillings, stainless steel crowns, etc. Ultimately, youll promote good oral health and help patients apply preventive dental care.
This is a pediatric office, we are looking for a general dentist with pediatric experience or a board certified pediatric dentist.
Responsibilities
- Examine patients medical records
- Prepare patients for treatment (e.g. by applying oral sedation or anesthesia)
- Check teeth, gums and other parts of the mouth, along with X-rays and tests, to diagnose dental problems
- Identify tooth decay and replace cavities with fillings and or stainless steel crowns
- Prescribe medication as needed
- Educate patients on proper brushing techniques, flossing and fluoride use
- Promote good oral health and preventive dental care (e.g. by scheduling regular check-ups)
Requirements
- Work experience in a pediatric dental environment
- In-depth understanding of dental hygiene
- Experience with dental equipment and tools
- Experience in all facets of Pediatric Dentistry
- A pleasant and compassionate personality with the ability to make patients feel comfortable
- Attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) or similar degree that gives license to practice the dentist profession
