What You'll Do:
- Manage Projects: Oversee the planning, scheduling, and coordination of residential construction projects from concept to completion.
- Site-Specific Planning: Develop and implement strategies tailored to each site, including landscaping, paving, and other details.
- Keep Projects on Track: Ensure all contracts, material orders, and project documents are updated and accurate throughout each stage.
- Monitor Progress: Review job costs and performance regularly, identifying variances and addressing potential issues before they affect timelines.
- Fieldwork: Visit job sites to ensure work is on schedule and resolve any on-site challenges with subcontractors or vendors.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring smooth operations and timely deliveries.
- Problem-Solver: Address unique customer requests and work with design teams to manage custom options and product rollouts.
- Team Support: Collaborate with the Field Production Manager and other departments to ensure projects meet quality and safety standards.
What You'll Bring:
- Construction Expertise: 5-7 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 3-5 years in a project management role or similar capacity. Strong project management skills and data management expertise are also considered valuable.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in construction management software, particularly IHMS, is a major plus. Strong Excel skills are essential.
- Detail-Oriented: A sharp focus on organization, multitasking, and managing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
- Problem Solver: The ability to handle project delays or unexpected issues with a calm, strategic approach.
