What You'll Do
- Takeoffs: Create precise takeoffs for every house plan, elevation, and option.
- Tailor to the Site: Develop specific takeoffs for things like sod, paving, and landscaping.
- Keep It Together: Create and update contracts, material lists, and ensure options are up-to-date.
- Spot the Differences: Review invoices and monitor job cost variances to keep projects on track.
- Hit the Field: Visit jobsites to confirm takeoff accuracy and collaborate with subcontractors.
- Vendor Relations Pro: Build strong relationships with vendors and manage bidding communities.
- Problem-solver: Price and manage unique customer requests, working hand-in hand with the design center on new product rollouts.
- Team Player: Assist the Field Production Manager and Plan Designer as needed.
- Construction Know-How: 5-7 years of experience in the construction field, including 3-5 years as a residential construction estimator (or similar role). A strong background in data management may also be considered in lieu of construction experience!
- Tech Savvy: Experience with IHMS construction software is a huge plus. You're also a data ninja in Excel
- Detail-Oriented: Highly organized and can multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Communicator: Your excellent verbal and written communication skills ensure you're always clear and concise.
- Problem Solver: You know how to manage delays or unexpected events without missing a beat.

- Competitive Salary: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year, depending on experience
