Job Title: Program Coordinator
Duration: Seasonal (June - August)
Position Summary:
This is a temporary role supporting the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit organization. The Program Coordinator will oversee the summer camp program operation, providing leadership and management across scheduling, program design, curriculum development, special events planning, and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to campers, staff, and families.
- Supervise and evaluate Program Leads.
- Coordinate weekly programs and schedules for campers and staff.
- Plan and facilitate all-camp activities and events.
- Deliver staff trainings and ensure proper attendance across camp.
- Maintain high standards in program areas and equipment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of leadership and childcare experience.
- Possession of teaching, facilitating, and team-building skills.
- Administrative experience with strong communication skills.
- Ability to delegate responsibilities and support others.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- CPR/First Aid Certification.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk, stand, or sit for long periods.
- Ability to bend, kneel, push, and pull.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Effective communication and response to critical situations.
Qualifications:

- Strong working knowledge of computers and software.
