The Account Underwriter Trainee will:
- Assess level of risk to determine & render underwriting decisions
- Work with agents to resolve problems
- Audit existing systems to ensure they are working properly
- Re-underwrite current risks to take appropriate action
- Communicate with management regarding issues in each parish
- Review new business renewal and endorsement requests by analyzing all information to determine acceptability based on underwriting guidelines and sound judgment
Qualifications include:
- Business related, Management or Agriculture college degree
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Professional communication, customer service, and analytical skills; assertive
- Organized, detailed and career oriented with high work ethics
- Proficient computer skills and use of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Willing to work outside normal hours to complete responsibilities
Education
Required- Bachelors or better in Business Administration or related field
