Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Front Counter/Equipment Rental Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their equipment rental needs, providing exceptional service, and ability to perform parts lookup for various manufactures. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and customer service skills. Knowledge of basic computer skills, and various construction equipment and tolls is a plus, but will train.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting the right equipment for their needs while providing knowledgeable recommendations.
- Process rental agreements and ensure accurate data entry into the system.
- Maintain an organized inventory of rental equipment, including tracking availability and condition.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Utilize retail math to calculate rental costs and provide quotes to customers.
- Negotiate rental terms with clients to ensure mutual satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and safe rental area.
- Support marketing efforts by promoting new equipment and services to potential customers.
- Perform parts lookup for equipment repairs as needed, as well as ability to lookup correct part for customers needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in sales or retail is preferred, but can train.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Proficiency in data entry and inventory control practices.
- Familiarity with Quick Books and other relevant software applications.
- Parts lookup experience preferred, but willing to train.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
