What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment and Supply Manager position at Southern Foodservice Management Inc?
JOB SUMMARY
- Performs administrative and clerical tasks in connection with the requisition, receipt, storage, issue of subsistence supplies.
- Verifies all dining facility subsistence requests.
- Responsible for ordering, receipt & storage of rations to ensure all established standards are followed and maintains accountability of sensitive and high dollar food items.
- Performs weekly and monthly inventories and ensures accountability is kept within tolerance limitations.
- Maintains equipment records for over $500,000 of equipment and is Property Custodian
- Maintain Government Furnished Property (GFP) Plan.
- Receive and inventory new equipment.
- Maintain GFP Inventory Records and assist Government with Hand Receipt
- Conduct annual physical inventory of GFP with Government.
- Turn-in (TI) Documentation of old GFP equipment.
- Work with Cintas issuing new uniforms, maintaining current inventory and turn in uniforms.
