We are seeking a dedicated Endoscopy Technician to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will assist in endoscopic procedures and provide support to medical staff in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
**Responsibilities:**
Prepare and set up endoscopic equipment for procedures
Assist physicians during endoscopic examinations
Ensure proper handling and sterilization of endoscopes and instruments
Monitor patient vital signs during procedures
Document patient care accurately in medical records
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the endoscopy unit
**Qualifications:**
Must have proficiency in aseptic technique for cleaning, sterilizing and storing medical instruments
Medical terminology
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques
Understanding of human anatomy and physiology
Ability to assist in diagnostic evaluations during procedures
This position requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare setting.
