Overview
The Branch Payroll Coordinator prepares and compiles payroll data for submission to the General Office Payroll Department for employees to receive payment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Audit and review commissions, bonuses, time records, and other relevant payroll documents to ensure integrity and accuracy
- Compile and review payroll data such as hours worked, commissions, bonuses, vacations, and sick pay from the time clock and other records; address discrepancies and update data as needed
- Ensure backup documentation is made available for corrections, as needed
- Complete payroll summary reports for the Branch and forward results to the General Office Payroll Department
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Additional Primary Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency plus 1-year experience
- Basic math skills to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages
Physical Demands
- Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding machine
- Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
- May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
