Overview
The CPWS Pricing Analyst supports the Commercial Finance department with analysis and implementation of pricing and programming related to assigned supplier(s). This position utilizes multiple pricing and billing systems and analysis and works collaboratively with key pricing stakeholders (sales, marketing, and commercial finance) to ensure growth while adhering to profit margin targets and legal compliance.
Primary Responsibilities
Ensures appropriate pricing and supports are set up effectively and efficiently for all supplier products
Structure and interpret data (i.e., scan, census, the point-of-sale information) for targeted use by chain sales, trade development, branch management, and executive leadership
Assess economic and market conditions, estimate sales potential and identify retailer / brand opportunity levers
Train users on software and data analysis techniques
Guide fact-based decision making and selling support at the corporate level and from the field
Work with the Trade Development Team to maximize efficiency efforts regarding pricing accuracy, returned case reductions, sales maximization, replenishment efficiency, compliance evaluation, and void closure; work with tools to control these costs and participate in the development of additional approaches to minimize these costs, including monthly system pricing validations
Design user-friendly tools to assist in the dissemination of information for all levels of finance, sales and marketing to assist in the development of effective practices
Perform analysis of all costing and pricing activities
Proactively monitor, research, and resolve issues related to inaccurate inventory costing, price, or support interference with profit goal attainment predictions.

Minimum Qualifications
Onsite position : Must live within driving distance to our office in Louisville-KY.
Bachelor s Degree and 1-2 years of experience or equivalent education and related experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Self-Starter with strong attention to detail, organization, multi-tasking and time management skills
Ability to Travel : 10%-20% with notice

Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing / keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding machine
Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
