The Role
The Principal Solution Analyst UKG is responsible for ensuring technology solutions meet business requirements and achieve desired outcomes. This position primarily designs and configures platforms to support business needs.
This role requires strong business acumen, application domain knowledge, and effective communication skills in both technical and business languages. You will assist subject matter experts with gap analysis, process definition, and system enhancements, providing high-level service for break-fix incidents and requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a lead/subject matter expert (SME) within the Solution Analyst team
- Apply system solutions to business requirements through design and configuration of systems platforms and applications
- Lead development of business and technical process documentation and training materials
- Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions
- Serve as liaison between Business Divisions/Functions and IT on projects and enhancements
- Mentor and support development of more junior Solution Analyst team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business Analysis, Data Management, Business Intelligence
- 5 years of work experience in a business or technology role working closely with functions outside of IT understanding business processes and needs
- High level of experience in systems development lifecycle models such as Agile or other traditional project management principles
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong knowledge of business processes and ability to design, configure, and deploy solutions to support them
