Job Overview
As a key member of our warehouse team, the Outbound Supervisor will oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient production levels and accurate order fulfillment. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.
Primary Responsibilities
- Direct the filling, loading, and checking of product orders for retail customers through effective management of team associates.
- Train new team members on organizational policies, service guidelines, and best practices.
- Ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment, meeting productivity expectations.
- Coach, direct, and counsel team associates on performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Define productivity goals and monitor progress regularly, conducting meetings with team members.
- Recommend employee development opportunities and performance improvement requirements.
- Participate in recruitment and hiring processes, assisting with evening scheduling for night warehouse operations.
Additional Responsibilities
- Attend monthly safety meetings, participating in online training courses each quarter.
- Achieve operational performance metrics, maintaining a safe working environment according to company and OSHA regulations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
- 3 years of experience or equivalent education and related experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
Physical Demands
- Significant physical activity, including walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping.
- Additional hours may be required during peak periods (October, November, December, etc.).
- Flexible work schedule, including overnight, early morning, and/or late evening shifts.
- May involve working at heights above 8 feet or lifting/lowering up to 56lbs.
