Overview
Reporting to the VP of Data&AI Platforms and Services, this role will design and implement a data governance platform that adheres to Southern Glazers Data&AI security and legal policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing data governance framework for an enterprise, with a focus on improving data quality, consistency, accessibility and protection of sensitive data.
Primary Responsibilities
- Partner with Data COE to build Southern Glazers Data Fingerprinting, management, classification, taxonomy, Ontology, tagging strategies, policies, standards and control frameworks.
- Evaluate and establish emerging data security practices and technologies related to data management.
- Drive team’s direction in implementing AI driven data governance practices
- Identify and track Key metrics and measures to track data quality, adherence to security policies
- Partner with Data COE, Security and Legal to build a Responsible AI governance platform that addresses model explainability, fairness, model bias, toxicity
- Responsible for Southern Glazers Regulatory, Security and Data Quality Operations for Data&AI
- Partner with Data Integration and AI platform leaders to implement governance standards across Data and AI pipelines.
- Leverage AI in automating Data and AI governance.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience
- 10 Years of Experience with a BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent education and experience
- 5 years focused experience in building data management, governance, risk and compliance management platforms
Technical Skills
- Data management, data design, data modeling
- Expertise in building data quality, data security, and regulatory frameworks
- Knowledge of data modeling, data architecture, and data engineering concepts
- Proficiency in building data governance tools and platforms
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent planning and organization skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and facilitating workshops/meetings
Physical Demands
- Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding machine
- Physical demands with activity or condition may include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
