Souther Graphic Designs, is a well established sign company in the Middle Georgia Area. Over 35 years, serving this area with creative signs and graphics.

Our goal is to Create and produce signage that appeals to our customers, as well represents them in a professional manner.

Overview:

We are seeking a talented Graphic/Sign Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and a keen eye for detail, with expertise in various design software and techniques. Sign design with the aid of Corel Draw and proprietary sign design programs, Sign Lab.

Responsibilities:

- Create visually appealing graphics and signs for production

- Develop concepts, graphics, and layouts for business signage and vehicle lettering

- Collaborate with the customer to produce compelling designs that meet brand guidelines and present the business in harmony with building designs

- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine designs

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and tools to continuously improve design quality

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in Sign Lab and Corel Draw.

- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles

- Familiarity with design tools

- Sign shop experience necessary, this is not an entry level position

Nice-to-have Skills:

- Experience in sign production

- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

- Understanding of user experience (UX) design principles

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
