Job Summary
">We are seeking an LPN or RN with a passion for night shift nursing to join our team as a Patient Care Specialist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for administering medications, evaluating patient progress, and developing effective treatment plans under the guidance of our physician/providers.
About the Role
">As a Patient Care Specialist, you will work 12-hour night shifts, Monday to Friday, providing hands-on care to patients in a correctional setting. You will also have opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge through ongoing training and education programs.
Key Responsibilities
">- Administer prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards and correctional regulations
- Evaluate patient symptoms, reactions, and progress, and document results
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with physician/providers
- Provide patient education on medication management, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle practices
