About the Role:
\We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Provider to deliver essential services to inmates in a county jail system. As a key member of our team, you will conduct mental health assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide counseling to address various issues.
\Responsibilities:

- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of inmates' mental health needs, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews. \
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, focusing on stabilization, skill-building, and preparation for re-entry into the community. \
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including corrections staff, medical professionals, and probation officers to ensure comprehensive care. \
- Facilitate referrals to internal programs and external community resources for ongoing support upon release. \
- Stay current with best practices in correctional mental health and seek out opportunities for professional growth. \\
- Master's Level: Master's degree in counseling or social work. Current licensure (LPC, MSW, etc.) and eligibility for certification in correctional mental health (preferred). \
- Registered Nurse: Minimum of 2 years of experience in psychiatric nursing \
- Correctional health experience preferred, but not required \\
