About the Role:
As a Correctional Nurse RN, you will provide direct patient care within a correctional facility, ensuring compliance with nursing standards and correctional regulations. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality patient care, evaluate symptoms and reactions, chart results, establish nursing plans, and work under the boundaries of State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, as well as Physician/Provider(s) orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards & correctional regulations.
- Evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients.
- Chart results and establish nursing plans.
- Work under the boundaries of State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, and Physician/Provider(s) orders.
