Work Environment
Our facility is located at Knox County Jail, and we have an open position for an LPN working day shifts. The schedule includes 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with alternating weekends.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients, chart results, establish nursing plans, and work within the boundaries of State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, and Physician/Provider(s)
- Administer prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards and correctional regulations
- Follow through with established treatment plans
- Perform emergency intervention, physical assessment, and critical thinking
