As an Accountant II, you will provide full-cycle Accounting for a healthcare organization that manages 43 long-term care and skilled nursing centers across GA, FL and NC, having responsibility for all accounting activities for a cluster of 10 of those centers. You will conduct financial reporting and month-end close, reconcile, research, and resolve issues for assigned GLs, provide a thorough P&L review and analysis based on budget and trends, and prepare entries to ensure accurately stated financials. You will also provide support for the annual budget process, special projects, and ad hoc reporting, as well as will provide accurate financial information to external auditors and external users as needed. Minimum Qualifications:
· Education required – BA College Degree
· Experience with NetSuite a plus
· Three to five years' experience in general ledger accounting
· CPA, CMA or MBA a plus
· Must pass the Background Check
· Must be eighteen years of age or older with a valid driver’s license for travel
Required Qualifications:
· Must have knowledge of acceptable accounting principle according to GAAP
· Advanced computer skills including data manipulation within Excel spreadsheets
· Ability to work independently yet be a team player
· Excellent customer service and communication skills
· Must be pro-active and have excellent problem-solving skills
· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and react accordingly to shifting priorities
· Must be able to work the hours necessary to complete tasks as needed
· Must be able to travel for company business (10%)
