Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Charge Nurse to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV infusions and injections.
- Oversee discharge planning to ensure patients transition smoothly from hospital to home or other care facilities.
- Provide specialized care such as ostomy care and catheterization as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records using eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, utilizing critical care transport skills when necessary.
- Train and mentor nursing staff in best practices and new procedures.
Requirements
- Valid nursing license with relevant certifications.
- Proven experience in inpatient settings, particularly in emergency medicine or critical care.
- Proficiency in IV infusion techniques and experience administering injections.
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of discharge planning processes and patient education.
- Experience with esthetic laser treatments is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while managing multiple priorities.
