Overview:
The Crisis Services Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance use crises by facilitating access to psychiatric care in the least restrictive environment. This position is responsible for conducting clinical assessments, performing crisis interventions, and coordinating voluntary hospital admissions and involuntary commitments. The Coordinator will oversee mental hygiene processes and respond to Mobile Crisis cases involving both children and adults, ensuring immediate and effective crisis management. Additionally, they will work across both counties to ensure effective crisis intervention and coordination, collaborating closely with the Center’s crisis team, external programs, various agencies, and healthcare providers to reduce hospitalizations and support smooth transitions back into the community.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a human services or social services field is required
- Proficiency in executing crisis intervention techniques to assist individuals and staff during crises
- Accessibility via telephone and ability to respond as needed
- Flexibility to work during traditional and non-traditional hours
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
