Southern Hills Early Childhood Program is currently looking for multiple full-time Co-Teacher positions across the following age groups:
- Infants (6 weeks – 12 months)
- Pre-Kindergarten (4–5 years)
- School-Age (After School Program and School Breaks)

We are a licensed childcare center dedicated to nurturing young minds and helping children grow through developmentally appropriate learning experiences. Our classrooms operate with lower child-to-teacher ratios to promote stronger teacher-child relationships and reduce teacher burnout. We offer a positive and professional atmosphere where teamwork, respect, and fun go hand-in-hand with meaningful learning.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, age-appropriate care in a safe and engaging classroom environment
- Implement lesson plans from a provided curriculum that meets all Kentucky Early Childhood Standards
- Foster emotional, physical, and cognitive development through structured and play-based learning
- Observe and document developmental milestones
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space
- Communicate effectively with families and co-workers
- Comply with all Kentucky licensing regulations and center policies
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass required background checks and health screenings
- Strong communication skills, teamwork mindset, and a genuine love for working with children
- Experience in a licensed childcare center is a plus but not required
