Role Summary

The Manager of Back Office Systems is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for the design, delivery, and optimization of enterprise applications that power Collectivus’s Finance, HR, Order Management, Inventory, and Supply Chain functions. This includes ERP platforms, WMS, CRM, PLM, and other mission-critical systems. The role is accountable for driving both the day-to-day reliability and the long-term strategic roadmap of these systems to ensure scalability, compliance, and alignment with business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the back office systems strategy, defining the roadmap across ERP, WMS, PLM, CRM, and financial platforms to support evolving business needs and digital transformation goals.
  • Own the lifecycle and performance of key systems, including Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Infor SX.e, Order Management platforms, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and CRM systems, including Creatio and HubSpot.
  • Partner with Finance, HR, Operations, and other stakeholders to define system requirements, streamline processes, and improve data integrity.
  • Direct a cross-functional team of analysts, developers, and support personnel responsible for implementing enhancements, managing incidents, and supporting users.
  • Drive system integration initiatives to improve data flow, reduce duplication, and unlock enterprise insights.
  • Collaborate with IT Security and Infrastructure to ensure systems meet compliance, security, and performance standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring alignment on support, SLAs, licensing, and product roadmaps.
  • Lead project planning, execution, and change management for new system deployments and major enhancements.
  • Support data governance and reporting initiatives by ensuring reliable master data and transactional integrity.

Qualifications

  • 6 years of experience supporting or managing enterprise back office systems.
  • 2 years of leadership experience with cross-functional teams or direct reports.
  • Proven experience with multiple platforms such as Sage Intacct, Business Central, Infor SX.e, WMS, Order Management, PLM, and CRM systems, including Creatio and HubSpot.
  • Strong understanding of core business functions, including Finance, Accounting, HR, Supply Chain, and Operations.
  • Demonstrated success in driving system strategy, roadmaps, and enterprise integration.
  • Familiarity with compliance and governance frameworks such as PCI, SOX, or GDPR.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
