About This Role :
As a Dispatch Manager you will play a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of scheduling and dispatching HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing technicians to service calls. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that technicians are efficiently dispatched to the right locations, at the right times, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. You will work closely with both customers and field personnel to facilitate smooth communication and ensure that all services are delivered in a timely and professional manner.
In This Role, You Will Be Responsible For :
- Managing the daily dispatching of HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing technicians to customer locations, ensuring timely responses and efficient use of resources.
- Coordinating and prioritizing service requests based on urgency, customer needs, and technician availability.
- Maintaining accurate records of service calls, scheduling, and technician assignments in the dispatch system.
- Communicating with customers to confirm service appointments, provide updates, and handle any scheduling changes or concerns.
- Monitoring technician performance to ensure timely arrival at jobs and efficient completion of tasks.
- Assisting with troubleshooting service-related issues and providing guidance to technicians when necessary.
- Handling customer inquiries and complaints, striving to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborating with management to optimize scheduling and improve overall operational processes.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and service quality expectations.
- Managing inventory and ensuring technicians have necessary equipment and materials for service calls.
- Training and mentoring junior dispatchers and support staff to ensure effective team operations.
- Answer incoming phone calls as needed.
