About This Role
Performs semi-skilled work in installation of HVAC systems with direct supervision.
In This Role, You Will Be Responsible For
- Assist in the installation of HVAC system with standard trade practices.
- Required to push, pull, climb, crawl or lift 75 pounds.
- Required to work on scaffolds and ladders, at various heights.
- Perform work under the direction of the assigned mechanic and/or supervisor.
- Subject to inspection for workmanship and appearance during progress
- and upon completion.
- Complies with safety, company and builders’ policies.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Good Driving Record preferred but not required.
- Ability to pay attention to detail and work in team effort.
- Knowledge and experience with hand and power tools.
- Having a positive attitude, being open minded and willing to learn
- Lifting 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Climbing ladders, accessing attics, navigating tight spaces, driving, entering crawlspaces, pushing, carrying, pulling, using hand tools, and performing fine detail work.
- Ability to drive.
- Working in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, attics, crawlspaces.
- Ability to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
- Use hands to handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
- Regularly stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch.
- The work requires regular exposure to extreme temperatures both indoors and outdoors, such as heat or cold, and adverse weather conditions such as wind, rain, ice or snow.
