Southern Idaho Landscape Center is a 20-acre, state-of-the-art garden center that includes a 24,000 square-foot main showroom and 12,000 square-foot production greenhouse. Opened in 2010, it is the largest garden center in Southern Idaho and is a Home and Garden Showplace member – a division of the True Value Company.
Job Overview
The Sales Associate is responsible for connecting with customers throughout their shopping experience and providing the inspiration and knowledge needed for them to make the right purchases. The ideal candidate feels comfortable working with customers on the floor in a retail setting, has basic indoor and outdoor gardening knowledge or the willingness to learn, and knows how to execute and maintain visual merchandising displays.
Essential Duties
- Welcomes and engages with customers throughout their shopping experience
- Assists customers with their product selection
- Cashes out customers quickly and accurately
- Maintains the store’s cleanliness, organization, and display of products
- Keeps back stock organized and ready to move to in-store displays
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Sales Associate experience preferred but not required
- Ability to walk or maneuver around the store for 8 hours per shift

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
