Position Summary
Education
- Responsible for sports medicine and rehabilitation care to the athlete in the clinic and during athletic practices and events.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training
Licenses and Certification
- Illinois Athletic Trainer licensure or eligible
- BLS
Experience and Skills
- Technical Experience: N/A
Role Specific Responsibilities
- Performs thorough sports medicine assessment
- Develops appropriate Plan of Care
- Provides care to the athlete during organized athletic events
- Documentation is accurate, complete and timely
- Assists with coverage during staff shortages and periods of high census/workload.
- Implements preventive care instruction/programs for schools, parents and athletes
