Position Summary
Education
- Responsible for all aspects of the Materials ERP system database integrity for SIH facilities, including par levels, facility storerooms, and warehouse.
Education
- Associates degree in business, information technology, or operations management required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, or operations management preferred.
- In lieu of degree, 8 years of inventory control management experience.
Licenses and Certification

Experience and Skills
- Technical Experience: 3 years in Healthcare Inventory Control
Add the following:
- Required
- Development Knowledge of Workday or similar ERP
- Familiarity with data wrangling, manipulations, transformations, integrations, maintenance, and QAQC
- Intermediate Excel knowledge (Vlookups, conditional formulas, formatting implementation, etc.)
- Development knowledge of Descriptive Statistics – KPIs – and Operationalizing metric outcomes.
- Knowledge of affective data storytelling/interpretation and presentation
- Communication with stakeholders with mindful interpretation and execution of their requests

Role Specific Responsibilities
- Establishes and/or maintains all aspects of the ERP Item Master, product updates, additions, deletions, functionality, locations/PARs, entities etc.
- Responsible for ERP maintenance. Remove, included below
- Establishes and maintains PAR level inventory in the ERP system for all patient care and supporting units. Remove, included above
- Responsible for ERP general maintenance, updates, patches, testing, functional monitoring, and data validation.
- Contributes to benchmarking tool conversations and data validation.
- Responsible for daily integrity of the ERP system, reviewing and maintaining report data, managing business processes, monitoring and addressing functional hand-off segments. Etc.
- Troubleshoots failures of the ERP system, handhelds, printers, and communicates downtime for updates.
- Responsible for testing new updates and versions. Remove this, it's redundant.
- Responsible for maintaining, testing, and troubleshooting hand held inventory devices. Remove this, it's redundant
- Participates in committees to improve the current ERP system and select future system functionalities.
- Responsible for set up and maintenance of EDI vendors and transaction sets.
- Responsible for the set up of new requesters and other supply related roles in the ERP system
- Responsible for support of Epic and Insysiv systems when needed.
- Assists Inventory Control Manager and System Central Supply Manager in assuring the integrity of the central distribution center all inventory.
- Responsible for creating/providing full spectrum reporting in relation to supply and inventory.
- Responsible for annual inventory process for the central distribution center; products count sheets, freezing of inventory, valuation, beginning to end of the process according to the established SOP.
- Responsible for providing count sheets, product/pricing updates, and valuation of the annual inventory for systemwide Surgery, Cath Lab, and Interventional Imaging departments.
- Provides all systemwide inventory valuation to Accounting by required date.
- Assists in the onboarding of new clinics, physician practices, and facilities.
