This is a 12-month, full-time appointment. Compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package, professional liability coverage, and salary commensurate with experience.The target salary offer for this position is $6,541.67 monthly. Final salary offer will be determined by a thorough assessment of available market data, internal salary equity, candidate experience and qualifications, and budget constraints Examples of Duties CAPS maintains an APA accredited pre-doctoral internship and provides comprehensive mental health services to diverse students of a large state university. Staff provides individual, group, couples, and crisis counseling; community intervention and social justice activities; and supervises practicum students and interns. QualificationsMinimum Qualifications : Earned doctorate in Counseling or Clinical Psychology from APA or CPA accredited program (ABD acceptable) by date of hire. Successful completion of APA or CPA accredited doctoral internship in professional psychology by start date of employment. Eligibility for registration as a licensed psychologist in State of Illinois within 18 months of start date of employment.Preferred Qualifications : Licensed as a psychologist in State of Illinois or licensed psychologist in another state and is eligible to become licensed in Illinois within six months of employment.
