Job Summary:
We are hiring a used car sales manager who has previous experience working in the used car industry. Taking inbound calls and selling used cars would be the prime responsibility. We are looking for somebody who is driven and hungry to make money in a fast-paced sales environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Selling vehicles only after thoroughly understanding and exhibiting capabilities, features and characteristics
- Securing sales and qualifying buyers for the purchase
- Sealing the deal and closing sales
Job Duties:
- Having comprehensive knowledge and understanding of different automobiles.
- Discussing in detail the budgets and pricing. Ask their customers what their budget allows and then offer them your best deal.
- Sealing the car deals after negotiating the price, overcoming objections, completing a purchase or sales contract.
- Establishing and maintaining a follow-up system with customers to encourage increased business referrals.
- Arranging a test drive. Test drives are critical for a car sale since most customers need assurance whether they are investing in the right car.
Job Requirements- Tasks, Skills, Knowledge and Responsibilities:
- A current and valid driver’s license
- A minimum of three-years experience in the used car selling industry
- Documentation and financial skills
- Telephone, communication and listening skills. Must be able to communicate and explain technical jargon to a layman easily.
- Must possess qualities, such as excellent negotiation and persuasive skills in terms of used cars.
