Job Description:
Southern Integrated Solutions and Consulting (SISC) is searching for a motivated and results-driven business development team member. This candidate will need to identify and cultivate new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing clients. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, expanding our market presence, and aligning with SISC’s strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within target industries such as oil & gas, utilities, manufacturing, and mining.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand SISC’s customer base.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through effective communication and a solutions-oriented approach.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and project management, to ensure seamless delivery of customized solutions.
- Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends, emerging opportunities, and competitor activities.
- Represent SISC at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and attract potential clients.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and sales reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the automation, electrical, or industrial sectors.
Hard Skills:
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Expertise in contract negotiations and closing deals.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Strong understanding of systems integration, automation, and industrial processes.
