Floral Delivery Driver

Position Summary

We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering fresh cut flowers to various locations within a 150 mile radius of Bowling Green, KY, including but not limited to Nashville, Louisville, Frankfort, Southern Indiana and many smaller towns in between while maintaining product quality, and providing outstanding service. Key Responsibilities

• Safely load, transport, and deliver fresh flowers to clients on a predetermined route.
• Maintain the freshness and integrity of products during transport.
• Unload, organize, and arrange flowers upon delivery as requested by clients.
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely deliveries and handling client inquiries or concerns professionally.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure safe and responsible driving.
• Assist in duties such as loading/unloading inventory and preparing orders when needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be available for early morning shifts (as early as 5 am).
• Ability to drive a personal vehicle for deliveries if the company delivery van is unavailable. Mileage reimbursement will be provided as applicable.
• Must have adequate personal car insurance coverage to meet company requirements.
• Prior delivery experience is preferred, especially with perishable products.
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional attitude.
• Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable driving a large cargo van.
• Comfortable driving in high traffic areas as well as smaller rural roads.
• Punctual, detail-oriented, and reliable.
• Familiarity with local routes and the regional area preferred.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week
